Learning and Development Services

First Providence Learning and Development Center offers a wide variety of services to meet the needs of most every family. Our services begin at six weeks of age.

We offer full-time and part-time enrollment, drop-in services and after school care. Transportation from select schools in Aiken County is available.
Full and part-time students are under contract and receive services for a specific number of days and hours.
Drop-ins are accepted on a space available basis only and usually receive service for only a few hours. Payment for drop-in services is due at the time of drop off. Children will not be permitted to stay unless full payment for this service has been made. Parents desiring this service should contact us in advance to ensure space availability.

Student space is limited in each classroom area. Students are grouped according to age and state licensing standards. Age groups are kept separated in the center and on the playground. Children under age two are never combined with those two and older except as allowed by state regulators.
Students are enrolled on a first come, first served basis. Students who desire to enroll when no space is available are placed on a classroom waiting list. As space becomes available, students on the classroom waiting list are offered first choice of the available space.
